Tires?

I finally have my VE8 ready to race. I have Calibers on it right now, but I would like to get another set or 2 of tires. What suggestions do you have for STLDB? Any advantages to different brands of wheels? Are most running the V3s? Molded inserts seem to be popular as well. I run mostly 1/10 indoor so 1/8 is new to me.

Thanks! I got to run my VE8 at Jeff City last night. Just did some laps at the RC Barn. Can't wait to get to an 8th scale track.

7's work well when the track is loamy too...

a JC 7 is NOT a loamy tire, in fact it's completely opposite...........it's a hardpack/groove tire................please chill and let people that actually know answer

as for your question, it's all in preference..........I carry in my tire bag for 1/8 buggy, hope this gives you a general idea and hope to see you soon racing!
